Karafree, thanks for sharing those wonderful sights of all those beautiful mountains. It made me long for those days when the Mrs. and I would ride through Colorado west on 70 into Glenwood Springs, then further on to Telluride. I really miss those days, days that felt like pure freedom. Thanks so much! 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for Trippin' us.

I've always liked autumn with the color change.

I'm a flatlander so it was nice that you expended all of the energy for me.

That rock at 4:24 looks like a stylized turtle.

Wow, this was totally cool, Karafree. The video scenes of your travels to and through the mountains. And to a soundtrack of Bob Seger's "Roll Me Away." And the lyrics of ascension and soaring:

Just then I saw a young hawk flyin'

And my soul began to rise

And pretty soon

My heart was singin'

This made my day. Thanks so much for sharing such beauty and awesomeness.

So glad you acknowledged that.. It was the lyric itself that made me pick this song...well, and just that calling to roll away...into the wilderness. If only I could have added the Hawk that soared overhead.. I did see plenty of them. AND AMAZING Williamson Sap suckers... They sounded like anxious squirrels until they jack hammered the trees!

Great symmetry in these images too, with the pyramid rocks echoing the mountains behind. What a beautiful place. 'Contact' takes me. . . Really enjoyed Carl Sagan's books :-)

Yay! You noticed the pyramid of rock... And the distant mts. Thank you.

I just got in the mail today a book I ordered while in Colorado. Written by Lynn Margulis first wife of Carl Sagan and their son Dorion. Fascinating book. I did a post about bacteria. And all life and how bacteria is the most abundant living organism on the planet. There is more bacteria in each human then the total of all humans that ever existed. Mitochondria which is an organelle in our eukaryotic cells is literally remnants of ancient bacteria. The book is DAZZLE GRADUALLY.

I lived in Manitou Spgs for a little while and then downtown Co Springs. Used to visit Garden of the Gods every week. Loved every minute I lived there. Daughter was born there too.

Yes, Manitou is beautiful, I have hiked several times at red rocks. The drive up on 24 past Manitou towards Woodland Park, and Rampart Reservoir is GORGEOUS! Your daughter was born there... My daughter now lives there, right near Palmer park.

What is so deep is ellie followed in her father"s footsteps. She adored him and respected him so that what appeared to her on her journey was the reflection of her father and his wisdom...so i came across a profound book while in CO it came in the mail today. The authors are Lynn margulis the first wife of Carl sagan. And their son Dorion. They have fueled a desire in me to better understand the biological world. I am fascinated.. I live with biologists.. Lol. But suddenly i am awakening to the world of biology... Goosbumps...lol but seriously

So heres the thing.. They are showing a much more creative view of reality. They are putting pieces together that have been in a sense obfuscated or presented so to confuse.. Anywhooo. I hope i will be able to write about it... Like my video about the river within... All biological life reflects our imagination.. And our signature on creation

You might want to look into the work of Dr. Zack Bush. He has taken research into the human microbiome to new levels of understanding.

He was the one who said we are microbes having a human experience.

In my comment above...Really all life reflects the imagination of Bacteria.. that is pretty fascinating. We are evolved from this very imagination.

YES. I Mentioned above I am reading a book by Lynn Margulis. In our very cells is an organelle we call Mitochondria. it literally is the remnant of ancient bacteria. It is Bacteria! bacteria are our first Ancestors.
